Hey! I'm Brie

I’m the photographer behind Dry Creek Photo Co., but most days I’m a middle school teacher and mom. I’m usually on the sidelines of a game or chasing my family around, book in one hand, Red Bull in the other, and a camera somewhere amongst the chaos. We’re based in Buckeye, Arizona for now. My husband is in the Air Force, so we are just along for the ride.

I originally picked up a camera for my kids. We are in the thick of the sports phase, always running from one game to the next, and somewhere in all of that I started noticing how quickly it was all changing. The seasons, the routines, even the little things you don’t think about in the moment. I wanted a way to hold onto it. What started as photos for my own family and friends turned into something more once I realized how much I genuinely loved it. I’ve always been the one with way too many photos and videos on my phone, saving everything I don’t want to forget, and picking up a camera just made it feel a little more meaningful.

At Dry Creek Photo Co., I capture the moments that matter most, whether that’s family sessions, couples and engagements, maternity, seniors, or even the moments on the sidelines. The big milestones and the in-between parts of everyday life. As a mom, I understand how important it is to remember it all, while also knowing how often you’re the one behind the camera instead of in the photos. My goal is to give you a chance to step into those moments, be present with your people, and still have photos to look back on years from now. Photos that feel like your life, just as it is.
